Annoushka Deighton is a fully qualified Acupuncturist who practices Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, cupping and massage. With over 10 years clinical experience.
"I am very passionate about the benefits that acupuncture can bring. I love seeing how powerful acupuncture can be. Even after treating 100s of people it still amazes me how my little needles can bring about such good results. Acupuncture can can be used to treat many different complaints but I have specialist interest in musculoskeletal issues such as frozen shoulders, osteoarthritis and back pain. As well helping couples with fertility issues. I am a strong advocate of an integrated approach between Western medical care and Chinese medicine and believe that the two can really complement each other. I usually offer a mixture of acupuncture, cupping and massage within one treatment and can offer individual dietary and lifestyle advice if needed.
I have a BSc Hons in Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture from Salford University. I have also completed post graduate courses including Acupuncture for fertility and gynaecology and facial rejuvenation. I am registered and insured with the British Acupuncture Council. Before becoming an acupuncturist I spent 10 years working as a support worker for Homeless Families, and was very involved in the restoration of Stretford Public Hall. When I'm not working I have the great company of my three bouncy children, a lovely stepson and our beautiful dogs.
